Idle Thoughts

On a recent hospital visit, we passed by the gift shop to pick up the requisite "fruit basket". Saw these cute little cherry apples from Japan. Compare their size to the raspberries right next to them. They're about the size of small-ish plums. Way too expensive to frivolously pick them off the shelves...wonder if they're sweeter than normal apples because all the flavour's concentrated into such a small little package? (The "chilli padi theory") :P
