Jingle Bell

The X'mas twigs have been decorated, and I'm feeling exceedingly festive this year. *Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?* Hmm, what will this year's Christmas season bring? Parties, gatherings, food, friends, song, much merry-making? *ponder ponder*

Heart Attack in a Bite

Yum yum...part of what spelt contentment on the weekend. :)

Cityscape

URA Draft Masterplan 2008. Some of us are geeky enough to check out the exhibition currently held for public feedback at the URA Centre. This is a close-up view of the Central Area, with a little red sticker marking our exact spot at that very moment. The consolation I got from the exhibition is, the building holding the little cave is still standing in the plan. Yay! No SERS planned (yet. Or at least, no plans of which the Master Planner had been informed of, as yet).

Another view of the Southern Central area, from the Marina Barrage.

Liquidity Crunch

Don't believe everything they say in the papers about a liquidity crunch...The stash of cash colleagues are bringing on their coming work trip to "inject liquidity" into the economy...

Out and About

I suppose if you had more than one lonely pet, it'd be fine.

Kinetic art at the new Keppel Marina. It was a humid day, but there was a little bit of wind churning the leaves of the sculpture around, making it a really pretty sight. On ground level though, you really couldn't feel a thing.

Meanwhile, up on Mount Faber, they've already dusted off the Christmas decorations from storage. This, I presume, is the fancy Christmas tree for the 2008 yuletide season, located beside The Jewel Box. The sun was very co-operative that day. :)
