Back in the City

This is our only other short break this year, after the bumper crop of holidays we took last year. Must've maxed out our credit, hence the dearth of holidays this year...

Since Our Friend would be flying through Hong Kong on his way home from yet another junket work trip, we grabbed the opportunity.

This year, we managed to squeeze in some obligatory sightseeing, despite the brewing super typhoon offshore. Eventually, that turned out to be a non-event (thankfully), and our holiday was not ruined.

The city was busy preparing itself for Halloween.

Familiar sights greeted us. We agreed we should do this again next year. And the year after. And the year after that year. Evidently, we agree on our holiday needs. :)
